Obelisk to the servicemen of the 448th Artillery Regiment who fought valiantly near Novgorod, performing their military duty honourably in all battles.
The monument was unveiled in 1979 in the Khutyn Monastery. A large reinforced concrete rifle stands on a hill, with slabs with the figure “229” on the front side of the stele. On the left is a plaque commemorating Hero of the Soviet Union Alexander Nazarov.
