In February 2017, Metropolitan Leo consecrated the new church in Yuryevo, Parfinsky District, in honour of the New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia and performed the first Sacrament of Baptism in the church. The construction began in 2013; it is the only church for five or six local villages.
