Description
In the center of Lyubytino settlement near the bridge there are Slavic funerary structures called hills. Their height is up to 8-10 meters, diameter varies from 18 to 25 meters. The hills are covered with stumpy pines.

On the right bank of the Msta River there are six structures that were formed in the 7th century A.D. This means that people lived on the territory of the district in ancient times. This is proved by the tools and household items found during excavations, such as pottery and funerary items. According to scientists, large vessels were used to store grain, small ones were used for eating and drinking.

Near the hills, in 1986, an original security sign made of wood appeared on the bank of the Msta River. It represents the figures of a teenager, a woman and a man. There is an inscription on the board: "The hills are archaeological monuments of the 7th-9th centuries. They are subject to protection as a national treasure...". The authors of the sign were the architects V.V. Pobozhin and V.G.Peshkin.

Among local residents the hills became objects of worship. In total, there are more than two hundred such man-made mounds in Lyubytino.
