The museum has exhibits (archaeological findings, paintings, and photographs, weapons, and ornaments) from different eras — from the Stone Age to our days. And the main attraction is an open-air exhibition «Slavic Village of the Xth Century», located on the site of a genuine archaeological complex of that time. Here, visitors get acquainted with the life, occupations, customs, and beliefs of the Slavs living in the middle reaches of the Msta River.
