Description
The museum is dedicated to Vladimir Vrassky, a renowned ichthyologist, local nobleman and the founder of Russia’s first fish hatchery in the village of Nikolskoye, and tells the story of the plant.
The museum includes a part of the researcher’s study and provides information on the plant’s development. The information stands feature materials about the Vrassky family’s genealogy, Vladimir Vrassky’s biography, his achievements in fish breeding, and efforts to create a fish factory. In the central section of the hall, you can see a scale model of the existing pond system of the Nikolsky Fish Plant.
