Kholm is an ancient Russian town located at the confluence of the rivers Lovat and Kunya. It is divided into three historical parts: Ilyinskaya, Nikolskaya and Tatilovskaya. Its fourth part, Klinskaya, was completely destroyed during the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945).
