Tea at the Dostoyevskys’

Tea at the Dostoyevskys’ was developed by the Novgorod United Museum-Reserve and its partners as part of the celebrations of the 200th anniversary of Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s birth. It continues the series of travel programmes devoted to the writer’s life and work in Staraya Russa.

The project recreates the traditions of Russian estate culture kept by the classic author’s family, such as those around drinking tea. Visitors are invited to join us for tea in the writer's garden in summer, or inside the House Museum in winter.
