Nikita Sharkov-Sollertinsky is a professional artist, painter and top-rank restorer, member of the Union of Artists of Russia and the UNESCO International Association of Art. He has taken part in more than 25 exhibitions in Russia and abroad, including in Moscow, St Petersburg, Veliky Novgorod, Rybinsk, Madrid, Spain, Berlin, Germany, etc. In the Borovichsky District, Sharkov visited Opechensky Posad, Opechensky Ryadok, Veliky Porog and several other locations and painted their landscapes, always poetic and touching. The artist’s work can be found in the Bakhrushin Moscow Museum of Theatre Art, the Novgorod Region State Art Culture Museum, the Rybinsk History and Art Museum, as well as in four German museums, in Madrid’s Tani gallery, and across multiple private collections in Russia and abroad.
