Alexander Suvorov was a national hero, Russian military commander, and founder of Russian military theory.
He never lost a single battle in his entire career as a military commander, and on multiple occasions defeated enemies who outnumbered him by far. He took part in over 60 battles and went down in history as a commander who cared for his soldiers, including by helping design a new field uniform for them.
