Get on board with learning about European art: visit the Dante Museum exhibition in Borovichi.
Andrei Ignatyev’s exhibition, Музее истории города Боровичи и Боровичского края Dante Museum, has opened in the Borovochi Historical Museum to mark the 700th anniversary of Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy.
The exhibition features a collection of rare and foreign editions, antique pre-revolutionary books, and albums featuring illustrations by Dali and Blake, as well as other graphic works related to the main creations of the great Italian poet. Among the exhibits there are also Dante bas-reliefs made by Borovichi craftsmen, as well as a small souvenir bust from the Dante house and museum in Florence.
The exhibition is open until August.
