Leaders of Russia is a one-of-a-kind and the world’s largest management competition.
This contest offers its participants an opportunity to assess their professional skills, obtain an individual development plan, meet corporate leaders, and join the community of top-performing managers.
Finalists can get career advice from senior executives at Russia’s top companies and prominent national politicians as part of a mentorship programme, as well as a RUB 1 million educational grant.
This year, a single contest will be replaced by eight tracks: Public Administration, Business and Manufacturing, IT, Healthcare, Research, Culture, International Track, and Students.
The purpose of the Public Administration track is to identify civil servants with a new mindset and the highest potential. In this category, the contest is open to Russian nationals under 55 years old. They need to have at least two years of experience in a management position and a higher education degree. Contenders go through an all-round assessment of their professional skills and receive an individual development plan. Winners get prominent Russian government officials as their mentors and can land internships and jobs in federal and regional executive bodies. They also receive educational certificates.
The Business and Manufacturing track is designed to discover the most promising professionals in the real economy. It is open to applicants under 55 years old who have worked in management positions for at least two years. Winners take up a mentorship with Russia’s leading corporate managers, can enrol in internships and get jobs at major corporations, and receive certificates to further their education.
The Research track seeks to build a community of leaders in science and technology who share the same values and are ready to make the scientific and technical development of the country their responsibility.
This track is open to
- Russian nationals- under 55 years old
- higher education degree
- at least two years of work in a management position
- experience in research and development
- at least one published research paper (general interest article) or a registered patent
The finalists and winners have the opportunity to study at the leading universities and research institutions, enrol in internships and get jobs. They also join the Coordinating Council for Youth Affairs in the areas of science and education under the Presidential Council for Science and Education.
The Healthcare track is devoted to uncovering the best talent and building a nationwide talent pool at various levels.
This track is open to applicants under 55 years old with at least two years of experience in management positions. They must have a higher education degree in the medical or healthcare fields.
Winners get to attend advanced training courses and can benefit from a mentorship programme with the best Russian specialists in healthcare. This is also an opportunity to get internships and jobs at the Healthcare Ministry, regional agencies and educational institutions. The Information Technology track seeks to identify the most promising IT managers.
It is open to entrants under 55 years old who have worked for at least two years in management positions, and hold a higher education degree.
The contenders go through an all-round assessment of their professional skills and get an individual development plan.
The Culture track focuses on uncovering management talent in culture, art and education.
Anyone under 55 years old with at least two years of management experience and a higher education degree can apply. Winners benefit from a mentorship programme with the best managers from Russia’s cultural sector, can attend major international cultural forums and exhibitions, and get internships in the Culture Ministry and its affiliated agencies.
There is also an opportunity to win another prize – an appointment to a senior position in Russia’s Culture Ministry, its regional agencies, or affiliated research and educational institutions.
