A monument to Hero of the Soviet Union Leonid Golikov was unveiled in Parfino in 2018. Golikov was born in Lukino, Parfinsky District. During the war, he was a scout for the 67th unit of the 4th Leningrad Partisan Brigade, which operated in the Novgorod and Pskov regions. He took part in 27 combat operations and specially distinguished himself during the attacks on the German invaders in the villages of Aprosovo, Sosnitsy and Sever.
