Remeslennaya Sloboda is a world of ancient artisan traditions, the roots of which go deep into the city’s history.
Visitors can attend workshops on blacksmithing, pottery, weaving, woodblock printing, leather crafting, armour making and chain mail weaving, traditional painting and typography, coin minting, candle making and wax working. In addition, you can try your hand at archery and take pictures in medieval costumes.
Remeslennaya Sloboda is open weekdays and Sundays from 11 am to 8 pm at the Sadko Theatre, and from 11 am to 5.30 pm on Saturdays.
