Description

The boulder is a large granite relic left by a glacier in the Quaternary period.

The boulder’s size is unique: it reaches 5 m above the ground, has a width of 9 m and a length of 10 m at the ground level. Its diameter is 38 m. The boulder is partially buried into the ground, to an unknown depth.

The boulder is a pagan worship rock of historical and cultural significance.

The area around this landmark is a popular place for mass gatherings and festivals. Every year around summer solstice (the last Saturday of June), a folk festival is held around the boulder.
