Two scenic waterfalls, both designated as nature conservation areas, can be found not far from the place where the Chalpa River joins the Bystritsa River. The cascade waterfall near the Chalpa River canyon is over 10 m long and 3.5 m tall, making it one of the largest waterfalls in the Novgorod Region, while its beauty can rival that of many mountain waterfalls.
