The church was commissioned by a Moscow merchant Ivan Syrkov in the 16th century. Austere and laconic decor, a spacious sub- church room must have been intended to store trade treasury and goods. Today this is an original ethnographic corner where you can get acquainted with crafts of Russian village of the second half of the 19th — early 20th centuries. Some of them (like spinning and weaving, felting, knitting needles, sewing cloth dolls) you can learn from the workshops. Visiting the exhibition will be especially interesting for families with children from the age of five.
