The Center studies, reconstructs and popularizes the archaeological musical instruments of the medieval Novgorod of the 10-15th centuries. Here you can get acquainted with the unique collection of musical antiquities, learn about the life and history of the creation of the Center, about the ongoing exhibitions and the collections stored here.

Every weekend you can hear the live sound of reconstructed gusli (psaltery), gudok (violin), soples (fluite), vargan (jew’s harp), learn about the discoveries of musical archeology and immerse yourself in the mysterious world of the sounds of ancient Novgorod.
