The museum is a materialised memory of the people, a link between generations and a vivid example of patriotic education of the younger generation.
The museum contains 147 items: soldiers’ personal effects, awards, Selo Gora residents’ memoirs, newspaper clips, rifles, caps, Russian and German flasks, helmets and shell cartridges. Each stand, glass case and exhibit bears witness to the deeds of the defenders of the Motherland. The museum collection has materials on the feat of Sergeant Sergei Cherepanov, a squad commander, 1249th rifle regiment, 377th rifle division.
