The Museum presents a unique exhibition (1.5 thousand items). It tells us about the battles on the territory of Staraya Russa, the occupation, the underground and partisan movements, the difficult way to the victory, the fact that the Victory Banner was hoisted over the defeated Reichstag by soldiers of the 150th Rifle Division, formed here in Staraya Russa. Front-line letters take a special place among the collection, thanks to whichwe can see the events through the eyes of the participants.
The samples of Soviet and German weapons, models of domestic military equipment, household items of Wehrmacht soldiers, interiors of partisan dug-out and an underground safe house are of constant interest to visitors.
