Museum of the artistic culture of Novgorod land

The museum is located on the territory of a Desyatinniy monastery, an architectural monument of the XIV–XIX centuries, and is one of the cultural centers of Veliky Novgorod.

Here all the facets of fine art are represented — painting, graphics, sculpture and modern decorative and applied art. The museum has an exposition «Cultural heritage of Novgorod monasteries», which covers the history of 25 Novgorod monasteries. Also, there is a modern exposition «Museum shop of porcelain», dedicated to the secrets of porcelain production and the brilliant historical past of Novgorod porcelain.
