The local libraries have gathered a large collection of materials on the life and works of writer Mikhail Prishvin.
The official opening of Mikhail Prishvin's Memorial Room took place in Soletsky District Library on 31 May 2011, as part of the Novgorodika-1150 creative project. The collection comprises materials that represent the writer’s life. Interactive tours are held to popularise Prishvin’s works among young people.
Currently, efforts are underway to gather more materials and replenish the collection of Mikhail Prishvin’s Memorial Room.
