Malaya Vishera Museum of Local Lore

The museum is located on the second floor of a two-storied brick building — a monument of architecture built in the late 19th century. This is the former home of merchants Kurzhenko — the founders of glassworks in Malaya Vishera. The museum fund has over 9000 items. There are paintings, glassware, objects of natural science collection, everyday life, ethnography, numismatics, photographs, and documents. The main expositions are «the history of the city’s formation», «Nikolaevskaya railway», «Famous and honorable people», «the history of the origin of glass production in the district», «The Great Patriotic War».
