Description
The Hanseatic Sign is installed at the end of a 12-metre path leading to the right bank of the Volkhov River where Hanseatic ships used to moor in Yaroslav’s Court.
The sign is a bronze sculpture of two ships swaying in the waves: a Hanseatic cog and a Novgorod ladya ship. The sign was erected and the territory was landscaped by Vozrozhdeniye company. The monument was unveiled in 2009.
