Description

The Kremlin wall offers a magnificent view of the pedestrian bridge, monuments of Yaroslav’s Courtyard, and the Volkhov River which flows magnificently from Lake Ilmen. A wall is a beautiful place for quiet walks at the height of eight meters. This was a place where city guardsmen-shooters called Streltsy carried out their duties from 15th to 17th century. The most curious tourists can take a look at the second level of the Palace Tower, where defenders fired their arms from the loopholes, as when the weapons and munitions were stored at the first level.

The journey over the Kremlin’s Battle Course is much more enjoyable in the company of the museum guide.
