The festival is closely linked to the name of Count Alexei Arakcheyev, a historical and military figure, who was famous for his ability to welcome guests in style and to always surprise them. This led to the idea of organising the Arakcheyev’s Pike culinary festival in the village of Gruzino, the site of Arakcheyev’s former estate.
The festival visitors will experience the authentic Russian way of life, have an exciting time, and enjoy great Russian food cooked to traditional recipes.
