The fair takes place in the second half of September every year. It includes a theatrical prelude, an interactive programme with Valdai barankas (dry bread rings), and an inter-district festival: The Holiday Will Come and Bring the Guests. Farms of the Novgorod Region and northwestern areas will hold a fair during the whole day.
