Lectures and presentations by ethno-musicologists, organologists and folklore experts; concerts; workshops on playing traditional musical instruments; interactive venues for children and their parents; and a craft fair.
The goal of the festival is to promote early musical instruments as an inalienable part of the cultural heritage of Russia and Europe, using as an example the close cultural and historical ties between the instrumental traditions of neighbouring countries.
