The Staraya Russa Readings have been held in the Fyodor Dostoyevsky House Museum since 1986. They are attended by scholars, literary critics and university lecturers from Russia and foreign countries. The aim is to get acquainted with the works of Fyodor Dostoyevsky, uncover new areas for studying the writer, and promote his works in modern society. The programme includes research reports and discussions.
