Bilibin Ivan Yakovlevich

The famous Russian artist, painter and graphic artist. In Russian art, he is known primarily as an unsurpassed illustrator of Russian folk tales, including the tales of A.S. Pushkin, master of book graphics, theater artist. From 1905 to 1909 I.Ya. Bilibin and his family rested in the Borovichi district at the station Valdayka (Lykoshino). He really liked these fabulously marvelous places - dense forests, lakes, rivers, and the railway.
